I am deeply committed to empowering students to harness the principles of cognitive science and mindfulness to enhance their learning capacity and enjoyment. My passion lies in providing dedicated support to students in science, math, and reading, with a specific focus on those who contend with anxiety.
How did UplyftEd come to be?
I experience anxiety. For years, I struggled without understanding what was happening. In school, I clenched my pencils tightly during assignments, often needing breaks to relieve the pain in my fingers. Tests left me drained and experiencing headaches while reading aloud in English class made my heart race in dread. Despite my good grades and athletic involvement, internally, I was battling a storm of emotions.
It wasn't until adulthood, when panic attacks became acute and frequent, that I connected these childhood symptoms to something more profound: Learning Anxiety. It took me two decades to recognize that my early struggles were a common issue often overlooked during our developmental years.

UplyftEd embodies my mission to integrate mindfulness into learning for students of all ages. By prioritizing mindfulness, we aim to optimize growth potential while minimizing anxiety, ensuring every learner thrives.
